For a glass project I need to attach a laser printed paper onto a glass piece, similarly to a label being attached to a bottle. What glue would I need to buy to get a nice smooth (no bubbles) attachment?

For that I would use a glue stick.

If you were applying a label for a wine bottle, though, the usual method is just dampen the back of the label with some milk, and place it on the bottle. You can smooth out any bump or bubble easily. When it dries, it's stuck in place, but comes off easily with water when it is time to recycle.

Rubber cement

3M Spray adhesive

clean the glass thoroughly and wipe with denatured alcohol and let dry just before applying paper with glue on it.
