How do you make a Clear gel?

I'm trying to create a clear gel that can be molded when heated and harden when it cools, for project i'm working on if you think you can help me please post..

I don't know how clear you need it, but silicon rubber does something you ask - though it will obviously stay flexible, and when cured it's not really transparents.

If you need something which gets really hard you'll have to look into resins. They are liquid, so you need a mold you can pour them in. But once they are cured they are hard and can be worked. There are completely transparent resins (e.g. the ones objects get cast into).

you can get a soft wax that is mold able and will harden a bit over time, but as to the other , a question more for the science people
