Drying time depends on many things.... how many layers, how thick/thin the paste used, the humidity of the room.
A thin layer (1/8") may dry overnight, a thick layer (3/4") could take two days. You can speed up the drying by putting your project close to fan, turning it every so often to dry it evenly.

Hi Lala , Your paper mache should take from two days to a week to dry.It depends on things like the weather ( wet weather takes longer-hot faster), the thickness of your work and the amount of glue/paper ratio. Hang in there it will dry eventually, be patient.Try not to move it before it dries or it could collapse. There is a good Yahoo group on paper mache, well worth a visit for all the tricks and tips of paper mache..
Good luck
