Probably.

Since that vivid yellow is not a natural color for clay they have probably added pigment to a white base. I am guessing that it is also available in other colors like blue, green and red (not terra cotta. That is a separate clay body itself)

You can find out exactly by contacting the manufacturer and researching the MSDS base for the product.

EDIT; Wrong, Mike... Both products are 'air dry' as described, The colored version is labeled "NEW" and lists a different brand - Fila rather than Prang and is sold by a Spanish origin company.

Probably unavailable in the U.S.... I certainly couldn't find it anywhere but Europe.

And where do you see 'oil/wax' ?

i've got faith in case you merely positioned the block in a bowl of water, it gets mushy and slippery on the exterior and stay annoying on the interior. 2 possibilities exist - one million. positioned a incredibly small volume of water - 2 tablespoons at maximum - in a heavy duty plastic bag you are able to seal - i could use a Slide or Zip Lock freezer bag that's heavier than storage bags - and enable it stand for each week or greater, checking softness and perhaps upload some water if it form of feels to have been soaked up. it ought to take a month looking on the size of the block. 2. Get an previous piece of heavy fabric - canvas, etc. - wrap the block up, positioned it on a annoying floor like concrete, and break it up with a hammer - the fabric keeps the products from scattering. Now to the water concern in the plastic bag - the broken products take up the water swifter. greater artwork.

No they are not. If properly named, the "self hardening" is air dry; The "modeling clay" is just that with the correct name - oil/wax moistened, never hardening modeling clay - but the site (click on the site source of the image is useless with no description - but an Amazon site http://www.amazon.co.uk/DAS-980g-Modelling-Clay-White/dp/B001GAP4YA shows the same package and says it is air dry - and other sites use the same wording https://www.google.com/search?q=Das+Modelling+Clay+White+1kg+&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
