That is a hurricane table lamp. WMC stands for White Metal Company. Does it work?



When you turn the light switch on, the bottom globe lights up, turn again and the top lights up, turn it a third time and both globes light up.



You can find these frequently in auctions. They are very heavy, with a brass base.
